I have bunk beds that are single 3ft and small double on bottom. The bottom bunk has been used the most which why we replaced the mattress last year. The top bunk has not been used for 2years in fact it was used occasionally when our grandchildren stayed. So whilst the unit as a whole is about 6years old they have used top 15 times..
Although there is a little bit of paint rubbed of on ladder.
