Yamaha XJ550 Maxim 1981 Tuned Up and in Near Show Condition! TAX & MOT Exempt as Bike is Now Registered as Historic.

This is one of my favourite bikes out of 14 in my collection and it is a proper 80’s Wheelie King if you open it up for show! I have personally tuned and ported this engine and it sounds amazing! I can assure you! It will bring a big smile to your face when you hit 6,000 RPM as it will pop up in 1st 2nd and in 3rd a bit. So Beware of this little 550’s power!

I took it for a quick 180 mile ride to the coast and back and took photo’s to show it in the old Harbour at Barmouth. It’s 100% reliable and has a brand new Avon tyres on it.

The bike was fully restored last year, so you can simply jump on it and enjoy it as I have just done without fear of anything going wrong for many years to come!!!

The price reflects the quality of this bike and my reluctance to sell. I don’t need the money just a bit of space and I’m in no rush to sell.
