When making an offer on an item you’ll have the option to request to pay via PayPal. The seller has the choice to accept or reject, which you’ll see under their counter-offer.
Remember! Make sure you discuss shipping costs during the offer process to avoid any misunderstandings later on.
Once your price is agreed and confirmed with the seller you’ll be asked to provide your shipping address. If you skip this screen, the seller will receive the shipping address saved directly in your PayPal account, so make sure you keep it up to date!
We recommend PayPal when you’re buying more expensive items or you’re not collecting in person as it offers Buyer Protection. Not all sellers will accept PayPal as a payment so if you’re not happy to pay in a different way, we’d recommend finding a seller that does.
Remember! PayPal only offers protection when you pay using 'Goods & Services'. If you select 'Friends & Family' you’re not covered.
PayPal is currently only available in the app.
