The boring bit - They are a regulated level one service provider that meets they key security standards within the payments’ industry (so they’re PCI DSS 3.2 compliant, if you’re really interested!). 

Supervised by the Dutch Central Bank as a financial institution, Adyen complies with European Union regulations applicable to the provision of payment services. It’s also a principal member and licenced acquirer of Visa and MasterCard and is subject to yearly audits by them and their partner banks. Safe as houses, then!

Remember! If the buyer and seller decided to go with a payment outside of the app (PayPal, bank transfer or other), then Shpock cannot provide you with support and you cover any risks.
